ABOUT
WOONYIN is a London-based ceramic artist.
Using both wheel-throwing and handbuilding, she creates forms that investigate the limits of structure, scale, and weight. Her works explore the tension between precision and material behaviour, finding a balance where controlled making meets the unpredictability of material response.
Her background in architecture informs her sensitivity to space and body. This is expressed through proportion, detail, and form, and in the dialogue that develops between works.
